You know sometimes I want to give up on the WWE (I wouldn't, right now, too many good things going on - CM Punk, Team Hell No, The Rock), but then something brilliant happens.

Like Zeb Colter.

Zeb is a heel, but for some reason sounds like someone reading my Facebook NewsFeed.

He is if you don't know, Dutch Mantell, a ex-pro wrestler who has held more than 50 titles, gave Steve Austin his name, was a huge star in Memphis and Puerto Rico, helped develop the likes of Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Kane, and The Undertaker, put women's wrestling on the map (in TNA) and wrestled a bear.

How brilliant is Zeb?

It's so brilliant that others are already claiming it was their idea first.

So brilliant that the WWE has to make an official statement to respond to the likes of Breitbart who complain it is making fun of the Tea Party.

As Zeb Colter speaks, WWE commentators joke that he gets love letters from Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh and talk show host/tea party hero Alex Jones.

Beck and Limbaugh probably could care less, but Colter has got Jones's goat.

Jones has been busy complaining about how the WWE is demonizing him.

(Which of course, misses the point. Vince McMahon is the guy who routinely puts Snooki, Donald Trump, and Shaquille O'Neil in matchjes to drum up publicity. The worst thing Jones can do is to encourage the guy).

I also suppose now is about as good time as any to mention that Linda McMahon's 2012 bid for Senate (as a Republican) was criticized hard by a lot of the more vocal members of the Republican establishment (not to mention repeated attacks from similarly named commentator Ann Coulter).

of course, Coulter could learn a few things from Colter.
