Labor Day Blues

bedsitter23Spending the Labor Day Weekend with some blues yesterday.
Iowa has a dedicated blues following. I admittedly haven't posted much about it, because I haven't actively followed it.
However, I was very impressed with Matt Woods and the Thunderbolts, who played a set at the Snus Hill Winery.
They play Southern-style blues, and do it rather good. They have discs on CDBaby if you like what you here, and they opened for Buddy Guy.
