One thing that is on my local bucket list is watching 1870s style baseball at Living History Farms.
I have been to LHF for sure. It's a museum-slash-history reenactment farm. I have been to plenty of these places across the country, and LHF is good, though I don't know it's worth the trip from where you are.
It is also home to the Machine Shed restaurant, which is worth the drive. In fact, Sarah Palin ate there a few weeks ago and turned it into a mini-rally, and since she was never running, it's apparent she just made the trip from Wasilla for the food.
Still, I would like to make it to the LHF for their monthly demonstrations of the early days of baseball. I am not even the biggest baseball fan you'll find, but the mixture of sport and history fascinates me.
I won't make it this year, which is a shame, because if I had, I could have seen that famous combo of Tinker to Evers to Santorum.

Santorum is unlikely to even finish in the top 5, but at least he could use his campaign to play some 1870's baseball.
I hate that I missed that
