in case you missed it mixed in with some high profile album releases, Bad Religion has a new disc True North.
To a certain extent, one can generally make the argument that you probably have all the Bad Religion albums you need (and at album #16, it's hard to argue that). That said, ever since The Empire strikes First and the two follow-up albums, 21st Century Bad Religion still feels relevant.
So it is with True North. That the lead single is called "F*ck you" might suggest the band is out of ideas (and the song isn't much better than it's idea, in my opinion), but that's not the case. The second single (the title track0 is as strong as any song in their arsenal, and for the most part, the rest of the album matches that track's highs.
Also for the record, it's their highest charting record to date (#19) which probably has more to say about the record buying public than anything else.
It's Bad Religion. if you're still not sure, Epitaph Records has all the songs posted on YouTube.
