End of the Fantasy Season

Dreams were big, and hopes were high (and apparently, so was I as my teams were terrible). Still, no one cares how sloppily you played when you are ahead on the scoreboard (Okay, that's not technically true, but for purposes of this story is it).
The Iowa Caucuses (4-10, playing in the semifinals of the losers bracket)- I did everything right with this team. ESPN graded my draft as an A+. Ultimately, those were bad picks but I traded my duds for real stars (Chris Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald out, Alfred Morris and Jimmy Graham in) and I even picked up some great free agents (Andre Brown, Danny Amendola, Dustin Keller). fun fact: this team is undefaeted when Brandon Weeden is the QB.
i made a few bad moves (Why did keep hanging on to Toby Gerhart this whole time?), but my team just stunk it up. I ought to give Fantasy up, but....
Saluki Dawgs (8-5, playing in the Championship) - as long as one of my teams does well, I still feel like a gridiron genius. The Dawgs were terrible too, but sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good (I had 3 wins by 2 points, a win by 4, and a win by 6).
No immediate stars (except Lawrence tynes) but a solid QB that everybody hates (and always passes on) Eli Manning. A not great but workable backfield (Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews- Yes, Chargers fans, you could have had that. Sorry) , and one star (Calvin Johnson).
Yes, this team one even when I was playing Isaac Redman and Mercedes Lewis on a regular basis.
Win or lose, I made the top 2, and I will surely forget everything I learned from this year by the time we get to drafting next year.
