On the Shelf 075: Dinosaur Jr

I might never have guessed it, but the Dinosaur Jr lineup of J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph has thrived. The reunion has lasted seven years and three albums, and are on top of the world once again (if only radio played that kind of music- I guess they will have to settle for being one of Al Bedsitter's favorite bands of the 2010s).
I Bet on Sky comes out next week, but you can stream it here.
At this point, I find it just a tad weaker than 2009's Farm, but it's got its moments.
G told me the new video was hilarious, and it is put together by Funny or Die.
I wasn't quite as impressed (though the last minute is pretty awesome), but it's a solid single.
Long may the flag of Team Mascis wave.
