What you need to know about the latest salvos.
The Koch Bros. are running an ad that attacks Obama for his stimulus package- saying the money went to a Traffic Light-building factory in China.
Obama struck back with Mitt Romney has a "Swiss bank account".
The "Swiss Bank Account" line is a good one. People really think of dubious financial dealings when they hear those words.
I don't take much stock in either claim. Maybe there are no places in America that build traffic lights. Maybe Romney (who travels extensively and did missionary work in France) opened a bank account because he wanted an ATM near where he was saying. Maybe Romney needed a toaster (or steak knives), and opened an account to get it. Hey, I've been there.
Meanwhile, the Tea Party Express rolled through Des Moines, attracting 40 supporters. They had tea party rapper Polatik in tow.
I won't hold politics against him, maybe his music is good. Or maybe he's so dull, he makes the Insane Clown Posse look like Tupac. Why is it that Conservative rappers always sound like you expect them to.

Bad news for Mitt Romney in Iowa
Iowa Republican State central committeeman Jamie Johnson refuses to support Mitt Romney and he's been vocal about it.
Johnson was on local radio (and apparently some national programming) states how he's bound to support the Republican platform, and because he supports that platform, he can't support Romney (Before you ask, he hasn't really said who he would vote for).
Granted, I hate when the usual blowhards make their decision based on talking points (Even Bill Cunningham came around to supporting McCain despite being rebuked quite publicly by the candidate), but this guy's job is to support the Republican candidate.
If you haven't guessed, it's because he doesn't think Romney is doing enough to stop abortion and gay marriage.
Still, this looks like a bad sign for a state Romney could use a win in.
This news comes a few weeks after the State Chair AJ Spiker and two Iowa Republican committee members said they wouldn't sign a pledge saying they supported Romney.
They said they didn't sign because it was a prerequisite at an Arizona event that you had to sign the pledge if you wanted your picture taken with Willard. Spiker and his other chairmen say they will support the eventual nominee.
Also, it probably should be noted Spiker is a Ron Paul guy.
