bedsitter23After months of denying it and only a day after Kathie Obradovich's excellent piece on why he shouldn't, the rumors are swirling that Chris Christie has changed his mind and might just run for President.
Kathie mentions the intense scrutiny that Christie would automatically get (just ask Anita Perry), but also mentions that to this point, Christie's refusal means he can't be swayed by big money donors. Perhaps it is still to be determined to see if Christie can be swayed by big money.
The other headline has been Florida once again scheduling a primary before the Iowa Caucus- January 31. Iowa had been looking at February 6th-ish.
Under both party rules, Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada can go before March 6.
I have heard as early as the 3rd of January, and the 9th seems a popular speculation (BCS night, o rly?)
So more of the same as last time this happened, including all of the candidates with pandering "The importance of Iowa going first" comments.
